Crofton Pride Parade and Resource Fair
Join us in celebration of Pride Month at the Crofton Parade and Resource Fair! Team Pickard volunteers will meet at Crofton Elementary at 8:30 for booth set up and 9am for parade line up.
Other Parade Information
Parade Lineup: Parade line-up starts at 9 am. Whether you are driving or walking in the parade, come to the main entrance of the parking lot, and volunteers will direct you to the parade staging area. Everyone should be lined up and ready to go by 9:30 am. Because the police will need to stop traffic for us, they have informed us that we must start the parade at exactly 10 am, so we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
Parade Handouts: If you plan to hand out items to the crowd during the parade, you must walk over and hand the item(s) to them. Items cannot be thrown and cannot be distributed from vehicles.
Attendance: Based on event responses and previous attendance, we're expecting about 500 people to join us at the parade and resource fair.
Waiver: All participants in the event must have signed release forms for everyone in their group. Please print enough copies of the form for your group to sign and bring them with you on 6/21. You can download the form here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YmFL9oY-5UMWPiHgzuGNoI3Fc1UvUV7PBP02xqTG25o/export?format=pdf
Booth Setup: We plan to start booth setup at 8:30 am. Pull into the main entrance of the school, and volunteers will direct you to your booth. Plan to bring your own canopy, table, and chairs. Vehicles will not be allowed into the fair area after 9:15. Booths must be set up by 9:30. If you no longer plan to participate in the resource fair, please let me know so I can update everything on our end.
T-shirts: If you would like to order a shirt before the event, please use the pre-order form (https://croftonpride.org/pre-order-2025-merch/). If we have your size(s) in stock, we can coordinate pick-up or drop-off this weekend. We just placed another order for more sizes, so if we don't already have your size, we should have it by the middle of next week.
